We appreciate you coming by TD Helps with your interest in banking with TD Bank, Jessica. We would be more than happy to help provide information on how to open a joint account.
To start, we'd like to share with you the many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. To view and compare our current Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you have decided on the best account(s) that fits you and your brother's banking needs, to open a joint account, we ask that you both visit a TD Store during lobby hours for further assistance. Please be sure that both signers are present for the account opening process and please bring both of your photo IDs, such as a Driver's License, State ID and/or a US passport. If you both are unable to visit a Store to open the joint account, you have the option of opening an individual account for now then adding your brother to the account at a later date by visiting a TD Store once he is available. To open an individual account, you may open the account Online by selecting the "Open Account" box located beneath each individual account, you may call us at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialists, available 24/7, or you can visit us and any TD Store.
