Welcome to the TD Helps community, Andrea.
We understand you would like to make a wire transfer to your son's college and we're more than happy to help guide you.
First, we recommend contacting the college to confirm if wire transfers are an option of payment.
After confirming this information, you may visit any TD Store during lobby hours to make your wire transfer. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you're at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. For international wires, please review additional information on sending international wires at http://bit.ly/1oowsYN.
We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. For more information on fees for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Please keep in mind that there is a limit of 6 total debit transactions per statement cycle for Money Market accounts, which includes wire transfers.
Hope you find this informative and have a nice day.
