Please know that we are able to place a stop payment on checks before they are presented/applied to your account. To clarify, if a check is pending against your account we are able to place a stop payment the same day.
To place a stop payment, we recommend contacting us directly for assistance. You are able to call our 24/7 Banking Specialists by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you need to dispute a check, we ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours.
Please know that if the transaction is not a physical check, we recommend reaching out to our Representatives using one of the methods listed above to discuss your situation and alternative solutions.
