Good afternoon, Shantel, and welcome to TD Helps!
This is a great question.
When you make a purchase using your debit card, in some instances, the purchases may not be debited from your account right away. It's common for certain purchases to remain pending in your account anywhere from 2-7 business days; and it's important to note that this time frame can vary depending on when the merchant will come to claim the funds from your account. Should they not come and claim the funds; the funds should be fully credited back to your account within 7 business days.
Should you need access to your funds sooner though, please don't worry, as we're here to help! In most instances, we can delete this pending transaction from your account, and we'd like to recommend that you connect with us directly so that we may review your account in further detail.
For your convenience, our Banking Specialist are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 1-888-751-9000. If you'd prefer, you're also welcome to visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this helped to provide you with some peace of mind, Shantel, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
Have a fantastic Thursday.
