i have a pending transaction on my account been there over a week the merchant says they are not collecting it because the phones never shipped when will this transaction drop off

This can be concerning, Pam, and we'd be happy to shed some light on pending transactions.
Based on the situation you've described, it sounds as though the transaction was authorized using your debit card as a credit or Visa transaction.
Transactions made as credit without the use of your PIN may remain pending against your account for up to 3 to 5 business days depending on the merchant. These funds apply to your statement on the date in which the merchant notifies TD they plan on collecting the funds.
As you've mentioned that this is not the case and the merchant it not going to collect the funds, the authorization should expire and the funds should return to your account. If the item applies to your statement, we first recommend reaching out to the merchant directly so they may issue a credit.
