Welcome to TD Helps, Nicole. We'd be happy to help.
Once an indvidual has been added as an authorized signer on your TD Account, they will have equal access to the account as you do. They can also obtain a TD Debit card if they wish.
To add a signer to an existing TD Bank Checking or Savings account, both the account holder(s) and the prospective signer would have to visit a TD Store and speak with a Customer Service Representative. Please make sure to bring proper identification (Driver's License, State issued photo ID, Passport, etc.) and Social Security number. For a listing of our current locations please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
During your visit and once this request has been submitted, our Specialists can also print out a new TD Debit Card for the new authorized signer!
We hope this helps answer your question, Nicole. We are here to help so let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great one!
