We understand your concern, John, and we'd be glad to set your mind at ease.
When you're telephone profile is locked you'll be glad to know that it does not affect the functionality of your account as a whole. To clarify further, you're still able to make transactions, use Online/Mobile Banking and more. It simply means that our Specialists available at 888-751-9000 are unable to assist via telephone at this time.
To restore your phone profile so a Banking Specialist is once again able to assist at 888-751-9000, we ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours with your valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
You're able to take a look at TD Stores near you here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion, John. Have a good week!
