account for the new one? or sign up for a new account all together? I just would like to check my balance on my phone. If I closed a checking account, transferred my funds from said account to a new one, do I still use the same login info from the old account for the new one? or sign up for a new account all together? I just would like to check my balance on my phone.

That's a great question, Larrissa, and we’ll be happy to help!
Once you've been set up with an online banking profile, this will be your profile for all existing, and any future accounts with us. This means, you will use the same username and password!
If you would like to reset your password, you may use our self-service tool here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you’re there, please click on the 'Forgot your password?' link that is located under the 'Password' field.
If you need any assistance with online banking, or have forgotten your username, please give us a call directly at 888-751-9000. Our Representatives are available to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope this helps, Larrissa, and appreciate you for stopping by.

Perhaps I worded this wrong. I recently had to close my checking account because of fraud and they gave me a new account but when I log into the TD, it's my old checking account and not my new one! I can see they transferred the funds to the new account but they did not close the old one and it seems my info is still linked to the old account. How do I linked my info to my new checking? Does that require me to sign up all over again or do I need to call customer support?

Thanks for getting back to us, Larrissa. We apologize for any confusion caused by our response.
New accounts are automatically added to your existing online banking profile within 1-3 business days after the account was opened. Please know that you will not have to enroll again!
If you'd like the new account to be added to your online banking immediately, you may call us at 888-751-9000, available 24/7.
In reference to the status of your previous account, we unfortunately will not be able to access this account, as TD Helps is not considered a secured forum. We encourage you to contact our Fraud Department directly at 800-893-8554. Representatives are available Monday- Sunday 7am- midnight.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Larrissa.
Have a great day!
