Thanks for reaching out to us here on TD Helps, Maria! We're glad you joined us and we'll be happy to review funds availability with you. Usually, when you deposit a check at a TD Bank ATM or with one of our Tellers, the first $100 should be made available immediately. In most cases, the rest of the funds are credited to your account on the following business day. When making a check deposit at one of our ATMs, we'd like to let you know that if you make your deposit before 8:00 PM on a business day, it would be considered a deposit for that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. As you've mentioned that you intend to make your deposit on a Saturday, we will consider that the deposit was made on the following business day. For weekend deposits, this usually means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday. Since you mentioned that your check was for $50.00, this amount should be made available at the time of your deposit. However, please note that exceptions can occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 90 consecutive days, you may not receive the first $100 available at the ATM during that time frame. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits. We hope this helps, Maria! Any questions let us know and have a great week.
