Thank you for visiting TD Helps, Alana. We'd be happy to shed some light on ATM deposits and how they work.
Deposits made at a TD Bank ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day are considered deposits made on that same day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays. If you make a deposit at an ATM before 8 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 8 PM, or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day. The first $100 of your check deposit is made available to you immediately for accounts opened longer than 90 days. The remaining amount is generally available the next business day.
You may also take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this answers your question, Alana. Have a great weekend.
