Thanks for submitting your question to TD Helps, Matt. We're happy to clear up some confusion regarding ATM check deposits!
TD Bank makes the first $100.00 available of your daily ATM deposits (cash and or checks) immediately for accounts that are opened 90 days or greater. Deposits made through the ATM before 8:00 PM will be available on the next banking day. However, deposits made through the ATM after 8:00 PM will be considered the next days' business and will post to your account on the following business day. If you make an ATM deposit after 8:00 PM on a Friday, that deposit is considered to be on Monday's banking day and will post to your account on Tuesday. Anytime a holiday falls on a Monday, the deposit will post to your account on Wednesday morning. If you'd like to take a look at this information in greater detail, we invite you to take a look at our Personal Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ as pages 35-37 details all of our deposit availability information.
We recommend making the check deposit at any TD Bank location during lobby hours as the funds will become available sooner than ATM deposits. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you.
We hope that this information helps out. Let us know if you have any other questions, Matt!
