Welcome to TD Helps, Shea. We appreciate you choosing to ask your question here.
Usually, when you deposit a check with a Teller or ATM, the first $100 is made available immediately. The rest of the funds are usually credited to your account on the following business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays
As long as you make your deposit prior to 8:00PM on a business day, the funds will typically be available on the next business day. However, check deposits made after 8:00 PM will be considered the next day's business and will post to your account on the following business day. If you make an ATM deposit after 8:00 PM on a Friday, that deposit is considered to be on Monday's business day and will post to your account on Tuesday. Anytime a holiday falls on a Monday, the deposit will post to your account on Wednesday morning.
Please note, exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If your account has been opened for 90 days or greater, any check deposit made at a TD ATM will have the first $100.00 of your daily ATM deposits immediately available in your account. Please note that if your account has not yet been open 90 days, the first $100.00 will not be available for withdrawal right away.
Hope this helps and have a great day!
