Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question, Joseph.
When depositing cash with a Teller the funds should be made available right away. If you decide to deposit cash via ATM, $100 of the funds should be available to you instantly and the remaining amount available the next business day. A Business Day is considered Monday through Friday, except federal holidays and certain restrictions do apply. Since your deposit was made on a Sunday it would be considered Monday’s business day. This means, if the cash deposit was made using an ATM, any remaining funds after the initial $100 would be available on Tuesday. If Monday happens to be a federal holiday, then the funds would not be available until Wednesday.
If you make a deposit through TD Bank Mobile Deposit and you submit the deposit before 8:00 p.m. ET on a business day, that is considered the date of your deposit; otherwise, the next business day is considered the date of your deposit. Your funds are generally available on the business day following the date of your deposit. So, in your case the funds will most likely be made available Tuesday.
Check out http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for our full Account Agreement to see circumstances where the funds are not available next business day. On pages 35-37 you can find more information about our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope you find this information helpful. Have a great day!
