I am trying to apply for a bank account and it's saying the minimum amount of money I can put into my savings is $2500. If I agree to that, does that mean any money I put into my checking, will be taken to my savings?

Please know that funds you deposit into your checking account will remain there unless authorized by you to move them.
You are able to schedule transfers from your checking account to your savings account by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, by visiting any TD Store or by signing in online.

You are able to log in to Online Banking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. To initiate a transfer online, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the “Transfers” tab, located on the top of your screen.
2. Enter the amount you wish to transfer in the box.
3. Select the proper “TO” & “FROM” accounts.
4. Select “Immediate Transfer”.
5. Click on “Schedule Transfer”.
6. Finally, click on “Complete Transfer.”
