Great question, Melissa and thanks for joining the TD Helps community.
If you'd like to be able to use your TD Visa Debit card for purchases even when you don't have enough money available in your account, you'll want to review our optional TD Debit Card Advance feature here: http://bit.ly/Q5WEKO.
We offer this service as a convenience, and as a safety net to give you the peace of mind of knowing that your card will work for you when you need it most.
We'd also invite you to check out: http://bit.ly/1lx9Xko as this provides overdraft options that you may find useful.
If you would like to enroll or deactivate TD Debit Card Advance, feel free to contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000. This can also be completed via your Online Banking account after logging in at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, by clicking the Customer Service tab, then using the Enroll in TD Debit Card Advance link (you can select either the option to enroll or deactivate using this link). Or, visit us at any TD Bank location during lobby hours and click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a local listing.
We hope this clarifies it for you, Melissa. We'd love to hear back from you if you have additional questions. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
