Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Erica.
As you may be aware, on some of our accounts there is a monthly maintenance fee, and a minimum daily balance that we ask you to keep in order to avoid this fee. If your account falls below your required daily minimum balance, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle. You can review a full list of all Personal Account Maintenance Fees and compare our accounts here: http://bit.ly/1nldlQv.
The answer to your question depends on if you're planning to close your account before or after your statement cycle ends. As we would like to assist you directly; unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum. To better assist you, we recommend contacting us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or feel free to visit us during lobby hours to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of TD Stores and hours near you. At that time, we’ll be able to review your statement cycle ending date with you.
Additionally, if you are enrolled for Online Banking, you're more than welcome to send a Secure Message via your online account with your inquiry. To send a secure message you must first log in to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” If you have not yet enrolled, please call us 24/7 at the same telephone number listed above to speak with our Banking Specialists.
Thanks again for your visit today! We welcome you back anytime with any other questions, and take care.
