Great to see you, Ellen!
From your message, it sounds like you may have our Convenience Checking account. If so, you can see a bit more about this type of account, including the maintenance fee, here: http://bit.ly/1Hm1BDI. Just click on the "View Guide" link below that account to learn more. You can also review our other accounts on that page, if you have a different account type.
For some of our accounts, there is a minimum daily balance required in order to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. If your account falls below the required balance on one day or more in the statement cycle, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of the statement cycle.
Because the minimum balance must be kept each day, we apologize that a deposit on the following business day would not prevent a fee in this case. You are able to make a deposit or transfer during the course of the same business day your account falls below the minimum, in order to avoid a fee.
To check on this for your account in particular and to review the details, we encourage you to contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000. We would be happy to discuss the ins and outs of this with you. You may also visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours for assistance as well. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find location near you.
We hope this helps a bit!
Thanks again for getting in touch with us, Ellen, and we wish you a great week ahead.
