Thank you for visiting TD Helps today, Stephanie.
Our Overdraft Service for checks and pre-authorized debits (ACH transactions) is standard and automatically provided to your account unless you have opted-out of this service. This link may help you understand our Overdraft Options in more detail: http://bit.ly/1lx9Xko.
As you mentioned that the amount of your outstanding check is greater than your available balance, we do recommend that you contact us to ensure you have not opted-out of this service in the past. Please also know that our Overdraft Service is discretionary and items will be paid at TD Bank's determination.
To best assist you, we do recommend that you speak with one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000, who can review your account with you in more detail. Or, if you'll be nearby one of our Stores, feel free to stop in during our extended lobby hours. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
Additionally, TD Bank offers several different overdraft services available to our Customers. For more information to choose which option is the best for you, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1AlDFOr.
We hope this information helps, Stephanie. Enjoy the rest of your day!
