person. What are the steps and how much does it cost to sign a new name onto this mortgage? If that person is a first time home buyer does that play into the reduction of the cost fee for transfering their name? I would love a break down on the costs for removing and putting a new persons name onto a mortgage.

Thank you for submitting your question to TD Helps today, Matthew.
To replace someone on a Mortgage through TD Bank US, you both would have to refinance. To begin the process of applying for a loan, you may want to decide on what type of loan you would want to apply for. By taking a look here: http://bit.ly/Pj0Nes, you can view our wide ranges of loans that may best fit your needs. Once you’ve decided on the one best for you, you can contact us at 856-751-9000 or collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518. A Customer Service Agent can then transfer you to a Home Lending Specialist directly to go over promotions for first time homebuyers and fees. Please note: the person your replace may have to sign a document agreeing to be removed from the mortgage.
If your Mortgage is with TD Canada Trust, check http://bit.ly/1ugkqjK to see a response to a similar question by our friends up north. Feel free to visit http://bit.ly/1giEf7F if you have additional questions.
