Thanks for sending your question our way.
Generally when cashing a check at TD Bank, you will need sufficient amount in your account to cover that check. Since you mentioned you do not have the available funds in your account, we recommend depositing the check with a Teller directly. Keep in mind that you will receive the first $100.00 of the check immediately and the remainder of the check the following business day.
We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any additional questions prior to your visit, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also ask any questions while at your local Store. For locations and lobby hours, please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Have a wonderful day, Danielle!
