Good evening and thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Rosina! We'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about account transfers.
Great news, you'd be able to make transfers to and from your checking account if you were to open a savings account. We invite you to take a look at what savings accounts TD Bank currently offers by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 . We also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ; which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you decide on what account best suits your needs, you can open it online, over the telephone or at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. If you choose to open the account online, please visit www.tdbank.com , select the account(s) that you'd like to open, click on "Open Account" and follow the prompts. You may call our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and one of our Banking Specialists can open the account(s) for you in minutes! Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you to have one of our Banking Specialists open the account for you in person.
If you are enrolled in online banking, you can make transfers between your new savings account and your current checking account. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above. You also have the option of making a transfer at any TD Bank ATM or Store.
We hope this is useful and please let us know if you have any additional questions, Rosina! Take care.
