Good morning Ginette! Thanks for reaching out to us.
Great news! With a TD Student Checking account, your daughter should have the ability to make transfers to her own accounts or to the accounts of others as long as they're within the United States right from her online banking.
We invite you to check out the different transfer options we have through online banking by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1o7dO68. To enroll in external transfers, she just needs to log in as normal and select the 'Transfers' tab. She'll then need to select if she's setting up transfers to herself or to others. If she enrolls in external transfers to her accounts elsewhere, she'll automatically be enrolled in Send Money as well, in case she needs to make a transfer to others in the future.
Send Money is completely free and offers the ability to transfer funds instantaneously to others. The only requirements are that the receiver has an active checking account and active debit card with a financial institution that participates with ClearXchange, the third party that processes the transfer. To check out more info on Send Money, click here: https://go.td.com/2q2Yodj. For instructions on how to enroll in Send Money, both from a PC and from the mobile app, please click here: http://bit.ly/2tOzD40.
If you or your daughter have any questions at all about setting up transfers, please don't hesitate to give our Tech Support Team a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562. We also invite you to visit us at any of our Stores to be assisted in person. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope that you're both having a great day! Take care, Ginette.
