Welcome to TD Helps, John, and thanks for submitting your question. We'll be happy to help!
Great news, neither TD Bank nor Visa charges any foreign transaction fees when you use your TD Bank Debit card! You'll also be able to use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. If you are unable to find a compatible machine, you will also be able to use your Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: https://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
Please note, for your protection, TD Bank continually monitors your debit card activity, and we may decline any irregular TD debit card or ATM transaction that is attempted. If you intend to travel, we encourage you to give a Representative a call at 888-751-9000, 24/7, so that we may note this on your account for you. You'll want to provide us with the dates and any other locations you'll be visiting when you call, so that your card will continue working as expected.
If you need to contact us while on your travels, you may contact us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The US country code is 1-011.
Please also note there is no limit to the amount of times you can withdraw funds in a day.
