We appreciate you reaching out to us, Joanna and will be more than happy to assist you with your question.
Please note, in order for your husband to have his own TD Debit Card with his name, he would need to be a signer on the account you are looking to open with us. You may wish to open a joint account with your husband. To do this, both parties must be present at the time of the account opening and can visit any TD Bank Store. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you. Once you both become signers on the account, you both receive your own debit cards on the spot!
Before your visit, feel free to take a look and compare our personal Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you and your husband. You should also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
You are also welcome to open an individual account online or via telephone first. To open the account via online, visit www.tdbank.com , click on the "Open Account" button below the account you choose and fill in the required fields. You can open an account via telephone 24/7 by calling our Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and one of our Banking Specialists can open the account for you.
Once your individual account has successfully opened, you can then visit any local TD Bank Store with your husband to add onto your account. Please make sure both parties bring the following documents to the Store: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
We noticed you are reaching out to us from Toronto, CA.
