Thank you for your interest in banking with TD, Megan. We'd be happy to help!
If you were to open an account in Massachusetts and then move to Washington D.C., there would be no change in how your account worked or the service you would receive at any TD Store!
We invite you to take a look at the variety of accounts we offer. To take a look at our different types of Checking accounts please visit here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd. Or for a custom recommendation, check out our Checking Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/KmmHe7. At TD Bank, we also offer Savings Accounts for all of your saving needs. We recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available. You also may find it helpful to use our customized Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF.
After you've decided on the account that fits you the best, there are a variety of ways to open them.
You are able to select "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing right online! If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or fund the account with a transfer from another deposit account you may have, using the routing and account numbers. You're also welcome to make your first deposit in person by visiting a TD Store.
Similarly, you are able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours to open an account or call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. To take a look at our Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that regardless of how you decide to open your account you will need a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D., etc.) and Social Security Number.
We hope to hear from you soon, Megan and have a great day!
Megan K, Mount Laurel
