Welcome to TD Helps, Karen and we're excited to hear that you're considering TD for your banking needs.
We invite you to take a look at the variety of accounts we offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you decide on the account type that best suits your needs, you can open the account via online, telephone or at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. To open the account via online, click on the "Open Account" button below the account you choose and fill in the required fields. You can open an account via telephone 24/7 by calling our Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and one of our Banking Specialists can open the account for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you, if you choose to visit a Store.
After your account is opened, you have the opportunity to enroll in Online Banking. You may do so by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address to complete the enrollment. If you have any trouble enrolling, you may contact us via phone at the number mentioned above or by visiting your local Store during lobby hours.
If you are looking to transfer funds from your TD Account to family or friend, you may use the Person-to-Person feature. This feature is located under the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab via your Online Banking. In order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer.
To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
Please note that there may be fees for the use of the above services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details.
If you have any trouble scheduling these payments we ask that you contact our Tech Support for assistance. They are available 24/7 at 800-493-7562. After account verification, they would be happy to assist.
We hope this helps, Karen and have a good day.
