Thanks for getting in touch with us via TD Helps, Mike!
First, we'd like to let you know that there are many factors which may contribute to an account being assessed an overdraft fee. Due to this and because we're unable to view your account information via this unsecured forum, we encourage you to contact us so that we can check into your account and transactions in further detail. Please contact us directly at 888-751-9000, available 24/7. After you connect with our Specialists and after account verification, we would be happy to review your account with you.
Generally speaking, overdraft fees are assessed on the business day following the overdraft. Additionally, kindly note that a deposit must be made on the same business day in which the transactions that overdrew the account were occurring in order to prevent these types of fees. For additional information, please check out pages 9-10 of our Personal Deposit Agreement by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ
To better review what may have occurred for your account, feel free to call us at the number listed above or visit us at any TD Bank Store to have your account reviewed in person. For a listing of TD Bank Stores please see here:http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you prefer and you are enrolled for online banking, you may send also us a Secure Message so that we can check in to this further for you. To send a secure message you must first log in to your TD Bank Online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Hope this clears it up a bit for you, Mike. Thanks again for writing in and enjoy your upcoming weekend!
