If I sent up an online saving acct, how can I put the $300 needed into it? Can I transfer from from my credit union acct, and how does that work?

External Transfers are used if you're sending money from your personal account with TD Bank to your account at another Financial Institution. To use this service you would have to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you're not already enrolled, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, debit card number and email address to get started. Once you're enrolled, you can initiate the transfer by using the "Transfers" tab. After selecting the "Transfers" tab you will then have to click "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You would have to add your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes.
When sending an External Transfer, you will have two delivery options, three day or next day delivery. Please note: for the three day option, the fee is $3.00 whereas; next day delivery has a fee of $7.00. The next day delivery option is not available for Savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
