when a check is sent via bill pay..., is that check certified?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Joe. This is a great question, and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
In some cases, we are not able to complete an electronic funds transfer to your specified biller. Should this happen, we would still make this payment for you by printing a check using your account number, and mailing it to the address you have provided. In this case, the date you selected is used as the date that the check should be delivered. Any date that is in grey and cannot be selected, is a date that we cannot deliver on. By default, all weekends and holidays will not be available for selection of delivery.
