Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Lynn. We'd be happy to provide some information.
If you had an account which is now closed due to a negative balance, although the same account won't be able to be reopened, you are always welcome to establish a new account with us. Please note that if the previous account became closed due to a charge off, you'll want to pay the amount due prior to opening a new account. Payment arrangements can be made by contacting our Recovery Department directly at 800-354-9769, or by visiting any TD Bank Store and stopping by a Teller station. When connecting with our Recovery Team, please keep in mind they are available Monday thru Friday, 8AM-9PM, and Saturday, 8AM-5PM.
After any owed balance is resolved, you will become eligible to open a new account. We invite you to take a look at our current Checking and Savings options prior to your account opening. For information on the current Checking accounts TD Bank offers, please follow this link: http://bit.ly/UR7yr0. For a customized recommendation with our Checking Selector, answer the questions provided here: http://bit.ly/KmmHe7. If you are interested in Savings accounts with us, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7. You can also receive a customized recommendation for our Savings accounts too! There are a few options available to open a new account. You may call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to open a new account. You may also open the account online by selecting the "Open Account" box beneath each specific account listed. As always you can visit a TD Store, http://bit.ly/TDStores, during lobby hours for more assistance. When opening a new account, it will be required to have a photo ID and your Social Security number.
We hope this was helpful, Lynn. Please let us know if you need anything else. Have a good one.
