Thanks for submitting your inquiry, Peter.
We're glad to help you!
Here at TD, we have the highest priority when it comes to the security of your account. We will always be here to assist you and to safeguard your account in the case that fraud should occur.
Generally speaking, we understand that in some instances, you may have to share your account information, such as when paying bills or receiving transfers; however, kindly keep in mind that TD Bank does not recommend providing your account or card number to anyone not listed on your TD Bank account. Additionally, for the security of your account, when a withdrawal is performed from an account at our locations, an ID is required.
If you believe that your account has been compromised in any way we recommend contacting our Fraud Department directly at 1-800-893-8554 so they may further assist you.
Thanks again for stopping by, Peter!
