Thanks for coming by TD Helps with your inquiry, Mayara.
Typically, if a check deposit was made with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of the deposit, the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the following business day. Cash deposits made with a Teller are made available immediately.
Additionally, as there are exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Although we currently do not offer deposit alerts, there are many ways available for you to manage your account and view deposits made.
One of the easiest ways you can check your balance is by giving us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You'll have the option of using our automated system or speaking with a live Banking Specialist. After your account is verified, you'll be able to find out your balance, your most recent transactions and more. If you choose to speak with one of our Banking Specialists, they'll be able to answer any additional questions you may have.
Another way you can check your balance is through online banking. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY . Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above. Once you're enrolled, please sign into your account and select the account balance that you'd like to view.
Also, once you're enrolled for online banking, you can download our mobile app to your smartphone as well. Click here: http://bit.ly/1hOPk1H to download the link to your phone. Through our mobile app, you can access your account 24/7 and you'll be able to check your balance and much more! Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1t2rx4L to review our FAQs for mobile banking.
If you happen to be near a TD Bank, stop on in and one of our Banking Specialists can provide your account balance for you. Or, if you prefer, swing by the ATM and check your account balance there. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you need anything else. Have a great day!
