Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Emia. We'd be happy to address your concern.
You'll be happy to know that only authorized signers or owner(s) on account have access to things like balance information so even if you provide your account information to someone else, they cannot access your balance. The same applies for any other account information.
If you ever feel as though your account number has fallen into jeopardy there are some steps that you can take to safeguard your account. We recommend contacting our Fraud Team at 800-893-8554 (Monday – Sunday, 7AM to 12 Midnight). Our Specialists would be happy to provide tips on how to protect your account. We also invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1nEnSHp for helpful "Offline Security Tips" that may be of use.
We hope this information helps and have a lovely day.
