f I deposit a check from one TD Bank account to another TD account is there a hold placed on my deposit. If so why is it not processed as an on us check?

With any check deposit, it generally will take one business day to clear and the funds to be made available. There are instances when we have to hold a check for longer to guarantee funds, even if it is a TD Bank check.
If you intend to deposit a check drawn from a TD Bank account and would like the funds made immediately available, we recommend making your deposit at one of our Stores with a teller. This way the check can be manually verified and if possible, the money made fully available to you. If you deposit a TD Bank check at an ATM or through Mobile Deposit, the check will follow normal processing, which is usually next day availability.
