I deposited my check this past Sunday (9/6/15). As usual, the first $100 was immediately available to me. Yesterday was Labor Day so I understand that the bank was closed. In my pending transactions, it says that the rest of the funds will be posted today (9/8/15) but it is nearly 6:00 in the evening and the rest of it has still not come through.

Please keep in mind that although TD Bank may be open on certain holidays and can accept your transactions, processing through the Federal Reserve Bank does not occur on federal holidays.
While most checks deposited prior to 8:00 pm are available the next banking day, there are some circumstances when they may be held up to 7 business days. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. In this instance, you might see funds on your account Pending Review, which will become available for withdrawal once they are verified.
There are also other instances in which checks may be held for extra time. On pages 38-41, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
