If you are looking to receive funds from a party that banks with another Financial Institution, please have that party connect with their Institution for further options on how to transfer funds online to your TD Account.
Additionally, we are happy to inform you that with our Person-to-Person payment feature via your TD Online banking, you can send and request funds from anyone within the US, whether they bank with TD Bank or a different Financial institution. To use this feature you must have a US address and cell phone number, a US Social Security number and a valid e-mail address. To start using this feature, you will need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website here: http://bit.ly/SMUhhl. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Once you have logged in or have successfully enrolled, please select the “Person-to-Person Payments” tab to enroll for this feature. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete, you’ll be ready to send the payment and also request money.
