Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Tania! We're glad that you are considering us for you banking needs and we'll be glad to assist you.
If you are going to be enrolled full time as a student and are under the age of 24, you are more than welcome to open a Student Checking Account with us. To qualify, you must have proof of enrollment (Student ID or a Tuition Payment Receipt). Also, with the Student Checking Account, no minimum deposit is needed to open the account. For more information on the Student Checking account, please visit http://bit.ly/S8Vejp. Once you have a TD Student Checking Account then you can also qualify for a TD Simple Savings Account with no monthly maintenance fee when linked to your Student Checking Account. For more information on our TD Simple Savings Account, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ph1XF2, or you can click here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7 to view the different types of Savings Account TD Bank has to offer.
Feel free to stop by any TD Bank location during lobby hours to open the account. As you're not a U.S. citizen, we'll need your non-US Passport and another secondary form of I.D. (Driver's License, Nexus Card, Residence Card, etc.). Please have these I.D.'s available when you open your new account. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this helps, Tania and let us know if you have any questions. Have a good one!
