Thanks for your question, Sunny. We'd be glad to help.
Please know that if you were to open an account abroad, you would be able to visit a TD Store to send funds internationally. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
We also recommend reaching out to the other financial institution to determine if any additional information is required.
Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with the sending of a wire transfer. To learn more please visit https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
We apologize as we are unable to advise if a Jamaican financial institution would allow you to open an account while outside the country. You would need to contact the institution of your choosing directly.
We hope this helps, Sunny. Have a good day.
