account, what is required to open and use as a way to fund/withdrawal my TDAmeritrade account from/to my local bank outside US? Good Morning, I have an investment account in TdAmeritrade as a foreign Non Resident (I live outside the US). Recently my local bank told me that is not allowed to transfer money direct to TdAmeritrade and to get an authorization is required an account where I am the main holder in a Bank in US, that way allow the international wire transfer and then fund my TdAmeritrade account to invest/trade.
In regards to the comments above, Im interested to open a Savings Account in TD Bank, as one of the costumer services agent (Ben XXXXXXX) from TdAmeritrade suggest to me to handle international wire transfers out and into my brokerage account.
I appreciate your support and your time

Thanks for your interest in an account with TD, Carlos. We'd be glad to help you open an account.
In order to open an account with us, you will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. To take a look at TD Stores you 'd like to visit please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We encourage you to take a look at the savings accounts we have to offer. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
It is very important to contact the Store you plan to visit to open the account to confirm if any other information or documentation will be required at the time of the account opening.
During your visit we also recommend discussing transfer options as well as the best account types for your needs.
We hope to see you at a TD Store soon, Carlos and have a good day.

Hi Megan. I´m exactly in the same situation than Carlos, but from Argentina.
There is any way to open the account without visiting a TD Store?
