I live in a suburb of Denver Colorado.
Last year when I vacationed in Canada I used my U.S. debit card, which I use for everything here in the U.S.
Keeping track of the transactions was a hassle. Because of the exchange rate my bank statement didn't match up with the receipts that I had saved.
Foreign transaction fees further complicated the problem.
My thought this year is to simplify this by opening a Canadian account and spend Canadian money while in Canada.
Probably what I need is similar to what I have here in the U.S. A basic checking account with an attached debit card.
Deposits would be in U.S. Dollars, and withdrawals (Charges) would be in Canadian dollars.
I need on-line banking services, as I don't believe I'm anywhere near one of your branches.
I'd like to open the account soon so that it will be well established before I travel in June.
Do you have a product that would meet my needs?
