Thanks for joining us at TD Helps, Jackeline. We'd be happy to help!
We appreciate your interest in TD Bank however, if you are a non-US resident, in order to open a TD account you would have to visit a TD location to do so. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If at any time, you are in the United States, you may visit a TD location to open the account of your choosing. We encourage you to view the different types of Checking accounts that TD Bank offers. You may view our Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. We also suggest looking at our Checking selector tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU, it will provide you with a personalized Checking account recommendation. You should also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
To find the nearest TD Bank to where you will be visiting please view our Store locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. When you visit you will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
As you are a Non-US resident and may not have SSN at this present time, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend contacting the Store you will be visiting in advance to confirm if any additional information will be needed.
We hope this information provided was helpful. Should you need anything else, please let us know.
