Thanks for joining us here on TD Helps, Xena. We would be happy to help!
Transferring funds is easier than ever with our new feature called "Person-to-Person" transfer which makes transferring funds online to other individuals at different institutions possible. This feature is free between TD Bank accounts and it allows you to send money domestically to any account outside TD without having to go to the Store. It doesn't end there! "Person-to-Person" transfers enable you to send money via text, email or by creating a contact. It even allows recurring transfers. We invite you to check out http://bit.ly/1cz3aim for all the details. Once enrolled, you'll be able to set up your contacts with any or all the below delivery methods enabled: E-mail address, mobile phone number (for text message delivery), or account number.
For text and e-mail delivery, the recipient will receive built-in directions on how to claim the money you've sent. You can add a personal message or even an electronic greeting card to accompany the money you're sending. This feature does come with limits on the amount you can send or receive. For the information on the payment methods and amounts, please check out this link: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD (Pg 3. section1.16).
Please note, there are limits in place for your protection. If you the amount you wish to send is higher than the limit, you have the options to write a check, send a wire or send a bill payment.
To use this feature, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. This link will bring you directly to the log in page: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you’re logged in, you must enroll for Person-to-Person payments. To do so, you would select the tab that says “Person-to-Person Payments” at the top of your online banking screen. Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule Fees and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will ask you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days your house owner will receive the funds.
This feature is available for most personal checking and money markets accounts. To use these services you must have an Online Banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, an active unique e-mail address, and a Social Security Number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and Online Banking transfers. For more information, read the Terms & Conditions.
If you are not currently signed up for online banking you may visit: http://bit.ly/1lqyp6r to enroll. You will need your account number, debit card number, E-mail address and Social Security number to enroll. If at any point you need assistance, please give our Digital Banking Team a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562 or you may visit us during lobby hours for help. Check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for hours and locations near you.
We hope this helps Xena. Have a great one!
