Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Christina. Sounds like such an exciting time, wedding then saving for a house! We are happy you came to TD Bank for help!
Here at TD Bank, we offer many types of Savings Account for your saving needs, even for your house! We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
If you are looking to open a joint account, both parties must visit a local TD Store for assistance. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please make sure both parties bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are looking to open an individual account, you can open the account online by selecting the "Open Account' box, you could also call us at 888-751-9000 for assistance with opening the account. Or if you prefer, you could visit us at any Store for the account opening.
Once the account is open, anyone can deposit funds into your account at any TD Store. Please keep in mind, an account number is required at the time of deposit. Please have the check made payable to one of the account holder(s) (such as yourself and/or your fiancé) and also on the back of the check, have them write "For Deposit Only" and include your account number.
If they are from out of State, they can mail in the deposit to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, ME 04243
Again, please have the check made payable to one of the account holder(s) (such as yourself and/or your fiancé) and also on the back of the check, have them write "For Deposit Only" and include your account number.
