Hello Shelly, welcome to TD Helps. We would be happy to help.
We apologize for any inconvenience however; we do not have a partnership with any Banks located in Belgium. Not to worry though. Travelling is a part of banking and we have some great travel tips.
You can use your TD Debit Card anywhere VISA is accepted worldwide. You even have the ability to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. Also, depending on your account type, each time a Non-TD Bank ATM is utilized, including international ATMs, TD Bank may assess an ATM surcharge of $3.00 per transaction. The fee will post the same day as the ATM withdrawal is made. You also may be assessed an additional fee (surcharge) at the time of your withdrawal. This fee is set by the machine owner and not associated with TD Bank. If you are unable to find a compatible machine, you would be able to use your Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Before traveling, we do recommend that you place a Travel Notification on your checking and/or savings account before you leave. To place a travel notification, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If you are setup for Online Banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. you can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, there will be an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please include the travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for Online Banking, she'll be able to do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. Once your have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to yours account(s).
Additionally, we also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case she encounters any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu.
We hope this helps and take care!
