We'd like to inform you that for the protection of your TD Bank account, your TD Debit Card has daily limits in place. For more information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look here http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement (pages 39-40).
You can also send us a written request via fax. You can send the fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138, and please include the following information:
Subject: Limit Increase
Debit/ATM Card Number
Contact Telephone Number
Amount of increase or decrease
Indicate - Visa, POS, ATM
Another option for you would be to send us a secure message via your Online Banking. Once you're logged in to www.tdbank.com, please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message" located under the "Message Center" section. Your request will be completed within 24 hours.
If you have not enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so anytime by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address and your current TD ATM/Debit card. If you run into any problems while enrolling, please give us a call at the number listed below.
Please note that the limit increases are only valid for one calendar day and will return to the original amount after this time passes. If your request is received after 6:00PM EST, the increase will remain in effect for one additional calendar day.
When making an ATM withdrawal from an international location, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. The TD Bank Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM is not available. Please note non-TD ATM fees still may apply. Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
Typically before travelling, we recommend placing Travel Notifications on your account. If you have not already done so, you can by calling us. If you're setup for Online Banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.”
If you need to call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
