My son is going to join summer school in U.S. So I would like to him use TD Bank debit or ATM card on the campus.
Can I open an account online? If I can, please tell me how to do.

Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps, Eri. We appreciate your interest in banking with TD Bank.
We'd like to let you know that in order to open an account with us, as a non US Citizen, you'll just need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. When your son is in the United States, he'd be able to open an account by visiting any TD Bank Store. For hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We currently offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
After he has decided on the type of the account he wishes to open, he will need to bring two forms of identification with him. One form of ID must be a non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature - State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature - Foreign Driver's License with Photo - US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date - College ID with Photo - Alien Registration Card with Photo - Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend connecting with the Store directly for additional information that may be needed to open the account(s).
If you or your son has any additional questions, please feel free to give us a call. When calling from Japan or any other country outside the United States, please dial us direct at 1-856-751-9000 or call Collect with operator assistance from any land line phone by asking the Operator to dial 1-215-569-0518 (if you are able to gain access to a land line).
We hope this helps and please let us know if you need anything else. Have a good one.
