Can I mail my cheque in for deposit?
I'm located in Canada but I have an account in the USA with TD. I need to deposit a cheque into my account from here.

Hey Melissa, thanks for dropping by TD Helps. We would be happy to help!
To make a deposit when you are unable to visit a TD Bank store or ATM you can either send your deposit to the Bank via mail or through our Mobile App if you have an Android or IPhone.
If you choose to mail in your deposit, you may send it to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
Just to share some tips that you may want to consider prior to mailing your deposit include:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
You may also initiate a mobile deposit via your TD mobile App. If you choose to make a deposit through your smart phone, you’ll first need to ensure you have an internet-enabled Android or IPhone device with a camera and that you are enrolled in TD Bank Online Banking as well as the TD Bank Mobile Deposit service. Also, you will need to ensure you have been a TD Bank customer for at least 90 days or longer with an active checking, savings or money market account.
If you meet the qualifications but have not enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY, you will need your TD ATM/Debit Card and Social Security number. You can contact us directly at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Banking Specialists if you run into any difficulties. Once you have successfully enrolled for Online Banking, you can now download our TD Mobile App. You may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt to input your mobile phone number for a text message containing the TD Bank Mobile App link. Please note, because you are located in Canada, TD Mobile application is only available within the US; however, you may temporarily change your location setting to download the application. You may need to contact your application provider, i.e. Apple App Store, Google Play, etc. The Mobile Application eligible devices include Android 2.1 and up, BlackBerry 5.0 and up, IPhone 4.1 and up.
We invite you to check out a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding TD Mobile Deposit which could be useful, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF. We would also recommend checking out http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for all of the information you'll need to know about funds availability starting on page 35.
We hope this helps Melissa. Have a great day and let us know if you have any further questions.
