Hey Helen, thanks for coming by TD Helps.
As your question is pertaining directly to your account and TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum, we are unable to access your personal information. Therefore, we do ask that you contact us directly at 888-751-9000, 24/7. You may search the check payment via our automated system by entering your TD debit card number or your account number. If you'd like to speak with a live Specialist, you may select "0" at any point. You're also invited to visit your local TD location for further assistance. To find a nearby Store, please check out our locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Additionally, if the check you are inquiring has been presented for payment, you can view this information along with the date it was presented via your TD Online Banking. With TD Online Banking, you have the ability to view your most recent check payments through Online Banking. If you have not enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/debit card number, Social Security number and email address to complete the enrollment. The system will lead you step-by-step through the process.
Once you are able to log in, you would then select your Checking account from the main page, and you will be directed to your most recent transactions. By selecting "All Available History" from the drop down menu located under "Account History," you will be able to view your past two statements' worth of transactions including checks. For a more specific search, you can select the link that says "Power Search." You will then be able to search by check number, amount and more!
Through Online Banking you may also send a secure message for the information if you are unable to locate it. To send a secure message, please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then "Send a Message." On the new page, there will be a message field and a drop down menu where you can choose a subject. Please select "General Customer Service" from the drop down box. Please fill in the necessary fields with details of your request.
We hope this helps Helen. Let us know if you have any other questions.
