Does she need a letter / signature from me? Or just the check and my account number?

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today, Loli.
We'd like to let you know that someone can make a deposit on your behalf at any TD Bank with a check, money order, or cash. The item must be made payable to you and “for deposit only” should be written on the back of the check in the endorsement field. As the deposit is intended for someone else's account, we suggest that the deposit be made with a Teller in the lobby. Feel free to look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank that your friend may visit.
Although we do not recommend that any Customer provide their TD account number to someone who is not an Authorized Signer on their account, please know that the correct TD account number will need to be confirmed at the time of deposit. If this is not possible, we recommend reaching out to your friend to discuss alternate deposit methods.
If you have any additional questions you may ask us here or by calling 24/7 at 888-751-9000. As you're stated that you're currently outside of the U.S., you may call us abroad at 1-856-751-9000 or call Collect with operator assistance from any land line phone by asking the Operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
Hope you have a great day and take care!
