We understand your concern, Mani. We'd be glad to help.
Please know that official checks purchased at TD are already certified funds. If you'd like to ensure the check is legitimate, you are able to take it to any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. Once speaking with a Specialist at any TD Store, they will be glad to determine if the check is genuine. Upon your visit, be sure to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We hope to see you at a TD Store soon, Mani and have a good day.
